An Introduction That Changed His Path

John Russo spent more than 30 years building original music and audio production companies for major ad agencies, record labels, and film studios.

He founded Russo/Grantham Productions as a national music resource for Fortune 500 advertising clients, then built Back Pocket Recording Studios into one of the largest privately owned recording facilities in the country. His companies are even credited with sending the first video commercial ever transmitted over the internet, for Panasonic.

None of that prepared him for what came next. Eight years ago, he was introduced to Dr. Alex Fridman, director of Drexel University’s Nyheim Plasma Institute and one of the world’s leading authorities on plasma science. Russo calls that meeting either pure happenstance or destiny knocking, and either way, it reshaped his career entirely.
